Philosophy P4C Training
Philosophy for Children (P4C) educator training covering the pedagogy and methods of doing philosophy with children!
Training Details:
In this program, participants are introduced to the pedagogy and methods of Philosophy for Children (P4C). Throughout the training, participants will learn the P4C methodology, which is based on the Socratic method, and how it can be applied in other subjects (such as Mathematics, Turkish and Foreign Languages…).
After this program, participants are expected to apply the methodology in their own lessons, and so contribute to the development of young people's critical thinking and communication skills.
Program Outcomes:
Participants will gain the skill of doing philosophy with children through children's books, stories and philosophical texts, and the competence
to apply this skill in all subjects and to use the P4C method within the curriculum.
• At the end of the training, participants will receive a
“Philosophy for Children P4C Educator Training” certificate of attendance.
New training dates will be announced once they are set.
